Do they still haunt me? It has been 13 years since the worst episode of my life. Have I really put it all behind me?
This is another day when I feel I had to subtley explain why National Service is such a big obstacle and generated so much doubts in me. I realised this could even be harder than explaining why I'm leaving ITE again even though I'm in no mood to explain either.
I'll move on from the latter. Perhaps I'll be free from the former in 5 years.... Really? The dent can be hammered back to shape, but the scars never disappear.
